Rain!!
Finally the rain gods heard our prayers and last night we got our first taste of summer rain! It didn't last long, but it was so nice to hear the sound on my roof and to smell the scent of wet earth. I love that smell! Hopefully we'll get more today!
YEESSS!!! It rained here in GDL too, but it rained good and hard for 30 minutes. Afterwards it was so cool and fresh! I spoke with Sara last night and she said it hadn't rained in her part of town. The news today reported that the rainy season has officially began. Whoop, whoop! Hopefully I don't have to water the backyard anymore. :)
